Whimsy Stamps January 2012 Release - Showcase Day 6

Hello and welcome to Day 6

of our January Rubber Die Release Showcase!

On January 18, Whimsy Stamps released this month's rubber designs and new shapeology dies. From then until January 25 the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new stamps and dies with a daily mini blog hop.

Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw.

Oh, and before I get to my creation for today, just a quick reminder that Issue 6 (Mini) for the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine will be releasing tomorrow!  It's a compilation of the showcase creations from this month's release as well as a look back at some of the DT's favorite Whimsy creations from 2011!

For my last showcase card for this release, I've used Val Ventura and Celebration Mini Tickets.  I also used the Whimsy Vines Die Set release a while back.  I went for a distressed look with lots of little embellishments.  It's been a while since I've been able to load my card with lots of little tidbits and I'm pretty satisfied with how the card came together.  The edges were distressed and inked with Vintage Photo.  The inspiration came from the sketch over at Stamps & Fun = Creativity challenge blog.
