Tickled Pink Stamps Party Pinkettes

Hello everyone!

I have four cards to show today using the new release of images from Tickled Pink Stamps: Party Pinkettes!  I wanted to join in on the release previews, but unfortunately, I had to leave town and didn't have time to create anything in time.  The cards are all pretty simple and were a breeze to make, which is sometimes just what you need for birthday cards.  Seems like I never have enough!

Make sure to check out the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog to see all the creations that the TPS design team came up with using these new images, which are available as digital stamps only very soon HERE.

Tickled Pink Stamps Pink Ribbon Pinkettes

Hi everyone!

Tickled Pink Stamps has a very special release going on this month: a digital release of three images and a sentiment set to commemorate Pink Ribbon Day.  Each image and sentiment set is $1 and if you buy all three images, you get the sentiment set for free.  By the way, the sentiment set is a Kellie Winnell and Ann Vento collaboration so I'm kind of excited about that.  I think the set turned out great actually :)

Anywho, please help a great cause, which won't be hard because the images are so adorable.  And make sure to head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog to check out yesterday's creations using Hope, today's creations using Charity, and tomorrow's creations using a Pink Ribbon Lil Lolita (can't tell you which, you'll have to see!)

Edited to add: I used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday for this card.  Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring this week!

Tickled Pink Lil Christmas Sneak Day 5!

Welcome to Day 5 of the Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Christmas sneak peeks!  For today's previews, we're showing off the elegant....

Lil Victorian Christmas Lolita Kellita

These previews are really helping me get these holiday cards done!  Again, for this card, I had no idea where to put a sentiment and after racking my brain, just gave up and left it sentiment-less.

Are you excited for the new release yet??  As a last reminder, the entire Lil Victoria Christmas Collection along with matching Vintage Lil Christmas Sentiments will be available on September 13th!  Tomorrow is the final day of previews at the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog until the big release!

Stamps: Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Christmas Lolita Kellita; Coloring medium: Copic on X-press It Blending Card; Papers: BasicGrey Capella; Embellishments: ribbon, Viva Decor Pearl Pen; Tools: Cuttlebug, Spellbinder dies, Cuttlebug Script embossing folder

Tickled Pink Lil Christmas Sneak Day 3!

Welcome to Day 3 of the Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Christmas sneak peeks!  For today's previews, we're showing off the handsome....

Lil Victorian Christmas Lad Scrooge Damon

I tried to go with a more "manly" look for this card and I think I succeeded?  Maybe?  I ended up with a bow with the thick twine (a gift from the generous Corry - thank you!!), but overall, I think the card is more gender-neutral than my usual.  The sentiment I used is from the new Vintage Lil Christmas Sentiments, which also comes with matching frames to us with the matching die that was released last year.

Remember, the entire Lil Victorian Christmas Collection along with matching Lil Christmas Sentiments will be available on September 13th!  We will have previews for you every day until then so keep checking the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog to see all the crafty goodness that the DT has come up with.

This card uses the sketch at Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

Tickled Pink Lil Christmas Sneak Day 2!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Christmas sneak peeks!  For today's previews, we're showing off the gorgeous....

Lil Victorian Christmas Lolita Ivy

I think Ivy is just so darn sweet!  I couldn't figure out where to fit the sentiment onto the card so there is none : /   Remember, the entire Lil Victorian Christmas Collection along with matching Lil Christmas Sentiments will be available on September 13th!  We will have previews for you every day until then so keep checking the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog to see all the crafty goodness that the DT has come up with.

Oh, and I used a sketch from the Just Us Girls Challenge blog, except I turned it upside down.

Stamps: Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Christmas Lolita Ivy; Coloring medium: Copic on X-press It Blending Card; Papers: BasicGrey Jovial (one of my all time favorite Christmas papers); Embellishments: lace, hemp cord; Tools: Cuttlebug, Spellbinder dies, Cuttlebug Script embossing folder

Tickled Pink Lil Christmas Sneak Day 1!

Welcome to Day 1 of the Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Christmas sneak peeks!  For today's previews, we're showing off the beautiful....

Lil Victorian Christmas Lolita Christina

I can't believe it's already that time of the year to start rolling out the holiday stamps.  This year has felt a little strange for me.  Part of me feels like it has zoomed by, the other part felt like it's been such a long year.  No matter what, time keeps ticking and there's no better time than now than to get started on those holiday cards :)

For today's preview, I opted for a simple layout with only some burlap and swirls to dress up the card.  I'm rather pleased overall with how it looks though!  And I really love this stamp - such a gorgeous image!  For the sentiment I used the new Lil Christmas Sentiments, which comes with the matching frame that you see it stamped on.  The frame is compatible with the matching die that was released last year.

The entire Lil Victorian Christmas Collection along with matching Lil Christmas Sentiments will be available on September 13th!  We will have previews for you every day until then so keep checking the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog to see all the crafty goodness that the DT has come up with.

TPS Lil Spinks and Spooks Preview Day 7!

Hi everyone! Today is the second-to-last day for previews of the upcoming release of the Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Spinks and Spooks collections and also a Halloween sentiments set that is compatible with the Pink Christmas die.  The new release will be available at the store on August 15th which is just two days away!

The stamp of the day is....
Lil Haunt 2 Vampire Lestat

Well, of course with a name like Lestat he has to be a vampire!  For today's creation, I used the stamp of the day along with a sentiment from the Spinks and Spooks Halloween Sentiments.  I stamped the "have a BOOTIFUL day" sentiment inside the frame stamp then cut it out using the Pink Christmas Die.
Okay, so today you must (no really) head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog because there are some pretty darn scary creations.  The gals really out-did themselves today.  Wow, just WOW!  Wish I was only half as creative!  This is about as daring as I can get, haha.  Oooh fake blood using a Viva Decor Pearl Pen....ooooh scary!

Stamps: Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Haunt 2 Vampire Lestat and Spinks and Spooks Halloween Sentiments; Medium: Copics on X-press It Blending Card; Papers: Bo Bunny Paper Pad 6"x 6" Timepiece (SPS has it for $4.19)Embellishments: cotton, Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Red; Tools: Tickled Pink Stamps Pink Christmas Die, Cuttlebug, ATG Adhesive Gun (SPS has it for $18.89!)

TPS Lil Spinks and Spooks Preview Day 4!

Hi everyone! Today we're continuing previews for the upcoming release of the Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Spinks and Spooks collections and also a Halloween sentiments set that is compatible with the Pink Christmas die.  The new release will be available at the store on August 15th!

The stamp of the day is....
Lil Haunt 2 Mummie Christina

For today's creation, I actually made something other than a card!  I used the stamp of the day along with a sentiment from the Spinks and Spooks Halloween Sentiments.  I stamped the "happy FRIGHT night" sentiment inside the frame stamp then cut it out using the Pink Christmas Die.
And I've been saying this throughout all the preview days, but you HAVE you head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog because all the DT's samples are TO DIE FOR.  See what I did there? lol

Hi everyone! Today we're continuing previews for the upcoming release of the Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Spinks and Spooks collections and also a Halloween sentiments set that is compatible with the Pink Christmas die.  The new release is being added to the store on August 15th!

The stamp of the day is....
Lil Haunt 2 Wizard Eric

For today's card, I used the stamp of the day along with a sentiment from the Spinks and Spooks Halloween Sentiments.  Not really much to say about this card, especially when compared to the other creations by the fantabulous DT.  Makes me want to cower in embarrassment at the simplicity of my card, lol.

Make sure you head over to the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog to see what I'm talking about!

TPS Lil Spinks and Spooks previews Day 1

Hi everyone! Today we're doing previews for the upcoming release of the Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Spinks and Spooks collections and also a Halloween sentiments set that is compatible with the Pink Christmas die.  Yep, get two uses out of your die!  The new release is being added to the store on August 15th, but before then, we have a whole week of previews for you to get you worked up for the release :)

The stamp of the day is....
Lil Haunt Lolita Kellita!

For today's card, I used the stamp of the day along with one of the frames that is included in the Halloween Sentiments.  I stamped the "time for a coffin break" sentiment inside the frame stamp then cut it out using the Pink Christmas DieLil Haunt Lolita Kellita is colored with Copics, but she actually looks better in person : /  I could NOT get the lighting right at all with her red hair! Also, I totally botched one of the dots using the pearl pen, but just think of it as splattered blood or something ; )  I should have planned ahead and made it messy on purpose to look like messy blood!

Anywho, you can find all of today's previewers at the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog. Make sure you head over there to see all the oh-so-spooky creations by the fabulous DT.

Pink {INK} Sketch Challenge #2!

Happy Friday!

Whew, I'm so glad this week is over!  Feels like it's been both a short week and a long week - does that make sense?  It feels like it's been a long week because it's been a busy one, but it feels like a short week because there's not been enough time to do all the things I need to do!

Anywho, enough whining.  Guess what?  It's already time for the Pink Ink Sketch Challenge #2!  This time around, we have a lovely sketch by the gorgeous and talented Kellie (who is going on an amazing 60-day Facebook free thing)!

Isn't the sketch wonderful?  I think it is :)  I took SOME liberty with it, but hopefully you still see all the elements there.  The beauty with sketches is that it gives you a starting point and then you can just RUN with it.  Plus, the DT this week has created some wonderful samples for you!

For this challenge, we are sponsored by Kellie and her awesome Tickled Pink Stamps store this week so if you love the TPS images, make sure to play along over the next two weeks for a chance to win!  Kellie is giving away 3 RUBBER or DIGITAL stamps from the NEW August release that wont had even started previews yet YAY.  BUT wait that is NOT all I am also going to give away the sentiments set AND the die to match!

Since TPS is sponsoring, I decided to use some brand spankin' new and oh-so-adorable Lil Littles.  I used Lil Little Lolita Lilith (I think Lilith is my favorite Lolita) and also used Lil Little Lad Luca.  I also used a sentiment from the Pink Valentine Sentiments set.  And yes, you are totally right if you're thinking that I went flower crazy on this card.  I gotta use up the ridiculously huge stash of flowers sooner or later!

Stamps: Tickled Pink Stamps d Lil Little Lolita Lilith, Lil Little Lad Luca and Pink Valentine Sentiments; Medium: Copics on X-press It Blending Card; Papers: Prima Madeline; Embellishments: WOC flowers (lots of them), pearl spray, lace; Tools: Spellbinders Circle die

Oh, and if you visit me often (thank you for that, I'm sorry I'm such a terrible commenter), you know that I usually color with Distress Inks, but hey, guess who picked up Copics again?  Yep, that'd be me, the person who SOLD some of her Copics because she thought she was never ever going to use them again.  Bad idea.  I think it's been about a year since I colored with Copics, if not more.  I've been seeing such awesome coloring from so many Copic users out there (you all know who you are) and I was overly optimistic that "Oh, maybe I can do that, too."  Well, let's just say that maybe I need more practice.  The only thing I really like on the colored image are their hair and her umbrella and maybe Luca's shirt.  Yes, practice indeed.

Alright, enough from me.  Make sure to stop by the Pink Ink Sketch Challenge Blog to be inspired by all the gorgeous creations by the DT and to enter the challenge!

Paper Fever

Hello everyone! Hope you're having a good weekend so far and that it's not too hot (or too cold for my Aussie friends) where you are!

If you are a frequenter of my blog, then you've heard me mention that the Pumpkin Spice store has THE BEST prices on paper: at least 30% off all products AND free shipping over $50 (I hate having to pay for high shipping).  But of course, prices mean nothing if the service is crappy, so thankfully, Denine has great service, too!  Everything always gets shipped so quickly.  I recently ordered from the store and she informed me that she's having her first ever design team call and I knew I had to throw my name into the hat.  You should, too!  You can find more about the call HERE.

To try out, she's asking us to create something specifically for the DT Call using at least two of the following paper lines: Bo Bunny, Cosmo Cricket, Crate Paper, Echo Park, Graphic 45, My Mind’s Eye.  You can find the paper lines I used below.

She's also posed the oh-so-impossible: mention your favorite paper line.  WHAT?  That's like asking me to choose my favorite dog, lol.  My thought process was this: I love October Afternoon's fresh yet sometimes vintage colors and patterns, but I also love Cosmo Cricket's bold and clean lines, but of course there's my first love BasicGrey, and then there are my newly found loves Echo Park and Crate Paper.  Sigh.  If I had to chose one, I guess it would have to be Cosmo Cricket.  It forces me to be bold and think outside what I would normally create.  So there you have it!

Okay, so on to my cards!  I created two because I was trying to put off having to study for my midterm. The "Butterfly Kisses" card is actually much nicer in person, but since it's so light, it didn't photograph well.  And I just love how you can cut up parts of the Graphic 45 paper to make them the actual image for the card! Alrightey, wish me luck and hope you enjoy the cards!

Stamps: Whimsy Stamps Spring Letter Seals; Papers: Echo Park's Springtime and MME Lime Twist Fly a Kite; Embellishments: seam binding, button; Tools: Spellbinders die, ATG gun, Aleene's Craft Glue

Stamps: Tickled Pink Stamps Steampunk Sentiments; Papers: Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante and Crate Paper Portrait Collection; Embellishments: seam binding, jute trims, WOC flower; Tools: Spellbinders dies, Inkssentials ink blending tool, Ranger Tea Dye ink pad, ATG gun

Our first Pink INK Sketch Challenge!

Hi everyone!  Today is the FIRST challenge for Pink INK Sketch Challenges and to celebrate our grand "opening," we're kicking things off with a blog hop!  I'm the first stop so if you're hopping along, you're in the right place.  If you lose your way, I have a list of the hop participants at the bottom of this post or you can also find it on the Pink INK Sketch Challenges Blog.

Oh, and you can also find us on Facebook HERE if you fancy the social networking thing :)

For our first sketch, we would like you to use this lovely sketch by Jane:

We have FIVE generous sponsors for you this week which means FIVE different chances to win prizes!!  Here are our wonderful sponsors for this week:

So on to my cards!  I created three cards for this challenge and was a bit flexible with the sketch, but the elements are still there (I hope you see them). At first, I thought only Tickled Pink Stamps was sponsoring, then we added on Whiff of Joy and also Whimsy Stamps so since I work for all of them, I didn't want to be biased so I used products from all three companies.  It was really fun making these cards!  It's probably because Jane's sketch is so versatile, but I created these three in about an hour and a half.  Granted, two of the images were already colored, but still, I don't think that's bad at all :)
Stamps: Whimsy Stamps Club Kid and Everyday Mini Postage Stamps; Medium: Distress Inks on Montval watercolor paper; Paper: Fancy Pants It's in the Little Things; Embellishments: WOC flowers, May Arts striped twill ribbon, baker's twine; Tools: Whimsy Stamps Mini Postage Stamp Die, Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Leaf Punch

Stamps: Whiff of Joy Little Nurse, Whimsy Stamps Oval Snippets; Medium: Distress Inks on Montval watercolor paper; Paper: October Afternoon Thrift Shop; Embellishments: WOC flowers, May Arts twill ribbon, lace; Tools: Nestabilities Ovals and Lacey Ovals; Memory Makers distressing tool

I think this Tickled Pink card turned out the best :)  I'm also entering it into the Pink Lady DT call, though I think my chances are slim since there's so much talent already in the pool.  If you haven't heard about the call, you can read all about it HERE and maybe give it a shot too :)
Stamps: Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Victoria Steampunk Lad Eric and Steampunk Sentiments; Medium: Distress Inks on Montval watercolor paper; Paper: October Afternoon Thrift Shop; Embellishments: WOC flowers, May Arts twill ribbon, lace; Tools: Nestabilities Ovals and Lacey Ovals; Memory Makers distressing tool

I hope you enjoyed my creations for today and we hope to see you join in at the Pink INK Sketch Challenges!

Now it's time to hop along to Cheri's magnificent blog to see what amazing creation she's come up with using Jane's oh-so-versatile sketch!

If you get lost along the way, here's the complete blog hop list:

Tickled Pink Stamps - Sweet Pinkette Pippa

Hello everyone!

I just have a quick post to show you a creation using Tickled Pink Stamps Pinkette Pippa and a sentiment from the Pink Thank U Sentiments which Kellie has available right now at the Tickled Pink Stamps store.  I got a little bit of time to play this weekend and this stamp has been sitting in my pile uninked for way too long already!  And can you believe it?? I'm actually going to play along in some challenges!  Wow, it's been soooo long since I've done that :)

This card is for the following challenges: Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge #16 Spring, Creative Cowgirls - Happy Easter/Spring/Mother's Day, Crafty Emma - Spring Colours/Images, and Flutterby Wednesdays - Open challenge.

I am now a Fuzzy!

Yep, you read that right.  I am now part of the Fuzzy Wuzzy gang!  Yep, I have joined the AMAZINGLY talented gang of ladies at The Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenge Blog.  OMG I can't even begin to tell you how awesome this group is - they are just so talented and I have admired each one of the for such a very long time.  Seriously, I have major respect for this group.  I figured I should set aside some truly play time for me.  With all the stuff going on with school, design work, etc, I wanted to make sure to create something purely for fun.  I am so lucky that Stephanne and Kylie have asked me to join the group :)  Thanks, gals!!

Well, to start it off in Ann fashion, I am late in posting my creation on my own blog.  Please head on over to the Fuzzy Wuzzy Blog to check out the out-of-this-world creations from the Fuzzies.  We have a beautiful inspiration pic to get your creative juices flowing (see below).  Isn't this fox so beautiful?

Oh, and the ever-so-sweet Kellie from Tickled Pink Stamps is graciously sponsoring us this month!  She offered up some images for us to use and of course, I had to use the wonderful Lil All Sorts images.  Look at how cute they are.  And the sentiment is from the Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Lad Sentiments, which go perfectly with these cool dudes.  I used Lil All Sorts Fox Emilio and Rockin' EmilioKellie has generously offered up a prize of 1 rubber stamp or 2 Digital Stamps from TPS Lil' Pets selection or either of the cute new foxes Emilio and Sir Rupert from the Lil Allsorts and Lil Lads releases so join in for a chance to win!

The card was made using some of my new MME Stella and Rose papers from the Gertie pad.  The images were colored with distress reinkers and papers were distressed with my Making Memories distresser (which I prefer over the Tim Holtz one) and inked with Vintage Photo.  The stripped twill ribbon is from May Arts, as is the net ribbon.  Other than that, there's not much to the card! Kinda simple :)

Please head on over to The Fuzzy Wuzzy Blog to come join us in all the fun!
