Whimsy Stamps April Release Showcase Day 7


Hello and welcome to Day 7 of our
April Rubber & Die Release Showcase!

On Wednesday (18 April) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs and new Shapeology dies. From then until 24 April the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop!

Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw.

I just couldn't resist using the sweet April Sunshine image by Elisabeth Bell.  I paired her up with a sentiment from the Everyday Sayings Notables 4 set (cut out by hand then layered on top of the Notables 4 die cut).  The Picket Fence Die behind the image was released last month and I've been die-ing (ha, I know, cheesy) to use it for a while.

For today's showcase, I decided to create a sentiment card using the For the Women in Our Lives set.  Can you believe Mother's Day is right around the corner?  No coloring for me today; just used colored inks for this card :)  Made it a breeze to put together!

For today's creation, I've used Mr. & Mrs. Teddy along with a sentiment from the Everyday Sayings Notables 4 set which was cut out using the Notables 4 die.  My vines doodling didn't turn out as I had hoped (aren't you glad I stick to sentiments, lol), but I do like the little flower arch above the cut teddies :)

Softpencil Blog Hop!
