I just have a quick post to show you a creation using Tickled Pink Stamps Pinkette Pippa and a sentiment from the Pink Thank U Sentiments which Kellie has available right now at the Tickled Pink Stamps store.  I got a little bit of time to play this weekend and this stamp has been sitting in my pile uninked for way too long already!  And can you believe it?? I'm actually going to play along in some challenges!  Wow, it's been soooo long since I've done that :)

This card is for the following challenges: Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge #16 Spring, Creative Cowgirls - Happy Easter/Spring/Mother's Day, Crafty Emma - Spring Colours/Images, and Flutterby Wednesdays - Open challenge.

Thanks for stopping by my ghost town of a blog today!  Please grab my blinkie for the May giveaways if you like :)

The hop starts today (Wednesday April 13th at noon EST) and ends on Wednesday April 20th at noon EST.

For this hop we have 6 different prize draws! We have not one but TWO grand prize draws, so two lucky hoppers will win a large selection of new release stamps. Grand Prize 1 will be for those who help us advertise the hop, and Grand Prize 2 will be for those who hop along with us. We also have 4 mini candy stops throughout the hop where you can enter to win a new release stamp!

I'm one of those prize stops!  Denise kindly let me give away the Party Mini Letter Seals Sentiment set.  How awesome is that?  To enter for a chance to win this set, just enter your information into InLinkz. You do NOT need a blog to enter - you can leave the URL blank and just fill in the Name and Email.

For my blog hop creation I have used all of Crissy's new images!  I've used Big Comfy Cake, Come Fly With Me, and Cupcake Bliss.  It was so fun merging them, but it was kind of scary to color because I didn't want to have to start all over if I messed up, lol.  I colored the images with Twinkling H2Os because we're still in the process of moving and the little jars are just more convenient to use right now versus the reinkers.  I've also used a sentiment from the Party Mini Letter Seals.  I stamped the sentiment onto felt, and it actually looks much better in person than it does in this terrible photo.  I kept the card simple to show off these darling images!  Plus, there was no more room to put anything else, lol.

Stamps: Whimsy Stamps Big Comfy Cake, Come Fly With Me, and Cupcake Bliss and sentiment from the Party Mini Letter Seals; Medium: Twinkling H2Os; Paper: MME; Accessories/tools: ribbon, pearls, felt

So now it's time for you to continue the hop by hopping on over to Iris's beautiful blog!

Thank you so much for hopping with us today and I hope you enjoy the new release!  Don't forget to enter in the candy draw below!

Whimsy Stamps Sneak Peek Day 5: DT's Choice

Today is the last day of sneak peeks of the Whimsy Stamps April 2011 rubber and dies release!  We're releasing 13 new rubber stamps and 2 new dies which will be available for sale at 12 noon EST on April 13 - tomorrow!

Today is Sneak Peek Day 5: DT's choice.  I've chosen to use the NEW Fairy Toadstools from Meljen's Designs.  The sentiment comes with Crissy's Benny and Joon Have Cake stamp.  Again, so very sorry for the horrible photo!  We're still trying to get moved in and situated so I didn't have my regular photo booth set up.  It actually looks much nicer in person.  I colored the image with Twinkling H20s so it has a nice shimmer, but it's not showing up much.

Please head over to the Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Blog for a list of today's sneak peekers and come back tomorrow to join us for the new release blog hop!
Stamps: Whimsy Stamps Fairy Toadstool, Sentiment from Benny and Joon Have Cake; Papers: MME Stella and Rose; Medium: Twinkling H20's; Accessories/tools: Spellbinders die, Viva Decor Pearl Pen, May Arts ribbon

Help for Japan Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to a very special blog hop today! You may have been on the first hop that Whimsy Stamps put on for this special cause. Well, there were so many who volunteered to join in that we had to do a second one! The illustrators of Whimsy Stamps have come together to draw a special set of digi images for the purpose of raising money for the relief effort in Japan. All proceeds from the sale of these images will be donated to that cause. Kenny K, Raindrop Echo Designs, Meljens Designs, and Crissy Armstrong all contributed art work.

For the whole month of April, you can purchase the images as a set or individually (your choice) by visiting this page on the Whimsy Stamps store website.  Please consider helping this special cause by purchasing one or all of the digital images we are offering.

I am the first stop in the blog hop so you're in the right place!  At the end of this post is the entire blog hop rotation in case you get lost.

The amazing ladies of two design teams have come together to host this blog hop for you!  Our team from Sentimental Sundays and the Kenny K Krafty Girlz have joined forces to design some amazing jaw dropping creations for you.  You have seven days to hop through all the blogs and enjoy all the lovely creations from these talented people.

The hop runs from now through til Sunday April 17 at noon.  There will be several opportunities to win blog candy!  Four random commenters will get a chance to receive one of the three individual images or the sentiment set so be sure to leave comments all along the way for your chance at a free digi!  Also, if you post the "Help for Japan" button on your blog's sidebar, you can enter into the draw for the grand prize!  The grand prize will consist of the entire digital set made just for this cause as well as a gift certificate donated by me worth $10 to use at the Whimsy Stamps store! To enter, you must help us advertise for this cause by posting the "Help Japan" button on your blog's side bar (just grab it from my side bar or from the top of this post using the code in the text box) and then enter your name on the Inlinkz option below so we can be sure to find the winner.

Now on to my project!  I have used Heartfelt Angel and Help for Japan Sentiments in my project today. I'm so very sorry for the horrible photo!  I'm in the process of moving so I didn't have my usual equipment on hand.  This card really doesn't do the image justice - Crissy has drawn such a beautiful angel!  I recolored the lines of the angel image using Microsoft Word (you can see my tutorial here) and then merged it with the sentiment (you can see my tutorial here).

Whimsy Stamps April Release: Sneak Peek Day 1

Today is the first day of sneak peeks of the Whimsy Stamps April 2011 rubber and dies release!  We're releasing 13 new rubber stamps and 2 new dies which will be available for sale at 12 noon EST on April 13.  Please join us for our release blog hop with tons of chances to win prizes, but before that, we have FIVE days of sneak peeks ahead for you!

Today is Sneak Peek Day 1: Sentiments and Dies (by Raindrop Echo Designs).  I've chosen to use the NEW Postcard background stamp along with a sentiment ("you make me happy") from the Everyday Mini Postage Stamp Set and also a little sentiment ("for you" from the Party Mini Letter Seals.  We will also be releasing a matching Mini Postage Stamps die.  The clock is from the Time Flies set which was release last month.

Please head over to the Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Blog for a list of today's sneak peekers and come back tomorrow for another sneak peek from me!

Stamp: Whimsy Stamps Postcard background, Everyday Mini Postage Stamps, Party Mini Letter Seals, Time Flies (available now); Paper: My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Mable; Accessories/tools: flowers from WOC, Tim Holtz metal thingy (label holder?), doily, pearl spray, and BasicGrey brads

I am now a Fuzzy!

Yep, you read that right.  I am now part of the Fuzzy Wuzzy gang!  Yep, I have joined the AMAZINGLY talented gang of ladies at The Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenge Blog.  OMG I can't even begin to tell you how awesome this group is - they are just so talented and I have admired each one of the for such a very long time.  Seriously, I have major respect for this group.  I figured I should set aside some truly play time for me.  With all the stuff going on with school, design work, etc, I wanted to make sure to create something purely for fun.  I am so lucky that Stephanne and Kylie have asked me to join the group :)  Thanks, gals!!

Well, to start it off in Ann fashion, I am late in posting my creation on my own blog.  Please head on over to the Fuzzy Wuzzy Blog to check out the out-of-this-world creations from the Fuzzies.  We have a beautiful inspiration pic to get your creative juices flowing (see below).  Isn't this fox so beautiful?

Oh, and the ever-so-sweet Kellie from Tickled Pink Stamps is graciously sponsoring us this month!  She offered up some images for us to use and of course, I had to use the wonderful Lil All Sorts images.  Look at how cute they are.  And the sentiment is from the Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Lad Sentiments, which go perfectly with these cool dudes.  I used Lil All Sorts Fox Emilio and Rockin' EmilioKellie has generously offered up a prize of 1 rubber stamp or 2 Digital Stamps from TPS Lil' Pets selection or either of the cute new foxes Emilio and Sir Rupert from the Lil Allsorts and Lil Lads releases so join in for a chance to win!

The card was made using some of my new MME Stella and Rose papers from the Gertie pad.  The images were colored with distress reinkers and papers were distressed with my Making Memories distresser (which I prefer over the Tim Holtz one) and inked with Vintage Photo.  The stripped twill ribbon is from May Arts, as is the net ribbon.  Other than that, there's not much to the card! Kinda simple :)

Please head on over to The Fuzzy Wuzzy Blog to come join us in all the fun!
