I'm back to combining different artists! I used Crissy and Elisabeth again for this one :) I think Wee Snippet's Cake and Cinnamon Sugar, which I think surprisingly went well together. The sentiment is from the Aged To Perfection Notables 3 set, layered on top of a die cut using the Notables 3 die. The Vintage Lamp Post die that I used was released last month.

Okay, so I've broken my streak of trying to combine multiple artists, but I just had to put these two fun gals together! Well, unless I guess if you count me as the sentiments designer, then there's two of us, lol. Anywho, the fun gals are Fabby Farrah and Sassy Sadie, new from KennyK. I wish I had written down the colors I used for the Sun Kissed (in this post) because I had a difficult time trying to recreate the sephia color scheme for this card. Oh well, better luck next time. I enjoy putting cards together more than I do coloring images so I didn't feel like doing another one ;)

I used both pennants sentiments and dies: Circle Celebration Pennants (with matching Circle Pennants dies) and Celebration Pennants (with matching Banner Pennants dies). Was kind of fun to see them both together :) Twine was a little difficult to string along the Circle Pennants dies, but all you have to do is use a big needle to thread the twine through the holes. I also used the Vintage Birthday Tabs 1 set with matching Tab 1 Die.

For today's card, I've combined Crissy's Birthday Hippo (for coloring inspiration, you must visit Iris' blog) and Amy by Wee Stamps. I went die crazy again and stuck the Birthday Sentimentables Die cuts all over my card. I've also used the Aged to Perfection Notables 3 sentiment set along with it's matching dies cuts: Notables 3 Die and Party Time Notables 3 Die (they can be layered on top of each other).

I used the great sketch over at CLP Challenge for this card.

Whimsy Stamps is releasing 20 fantastic new rubber stamps and 7 wonderful new Shapeology dies today together with 2 brand new Shape EZ templates! These new goodies are available to buy right now from the Whimsy Stamps store along with all your Whimsy favourites.

From today until March 27 the Whimsy DT and Special Guests will be showcasing these fabulous new stamps and dies with a daily mini blog hop. Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you will have 24hrs to enter each prize draw by leaving a comment on every blog listed for that day.

For today's showcase, I've used a couple of the new images and a few of the new sentiments and dies! In the last release, I paired up images from the same artists, but this time, I'm mixing it up a bit and combining images from different artists :) Here I've used Crissy's Birthday Pile Up and Elisabeth Bell's Lemon Pepper. Is it believable that Lemon Pepper is giving the kitty a birthday kiss? lol.

I used a few of the new sentiments and dies: Celebration Circle Pennants with matching Circle Pennants dies, Party Hat Sentiments with matching Party Hat dies, and the oldie (but goodie) Balloon Die Set. I was actually quite pleased with the way that the Circle Pennant Dies Set cut - the circles were crisp.

I hope that you like my creation for today :) I had a fun time putting it together!

The Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests have been previewing these beautiful stamps for the past 2 days, and today we are celebrating their release with a BLOG HOP!

The hop starts today (Wednesday March 7th at 12.00PM EST) and ends on Wednesday March 14th at 12.00PM EST.

For this hop we have five different prize draws! One lucky hopper will win the entire new release of ALL four stamps. We also have four mini candy stops throughout the hop where you can enter to win a new release stamp! We're not telling you where they are, so be sure to complete the hop to find them!

For today's hope, I've used the gorgeous Apple Blossom! Isn't she just a cutie pie? The sentiment is from the Friendship Notables 2 sentiment set and it's framed around a chipboard frame by Make it Crafty (available at the Whimsy Store). I thought it was about time to use up some chippies so I stuck a few dragonflies in random places. The vines were cut out using the Vines Die Set and the border was cut using the Double Scalloped Border Die. Very heavily embellished card, but I just couldn't stop, lol.
