Welcome to Sneak Peek Day 4 of the Whimsy Stamps February Rubber Release!

Today I'm sneak peeking the upcoming Balloon Set Dies and Birthday Postage Stamps which I've designed. I mentioned on Day 2 that the dies can cut felt and after I found that out, I went FELT CRAZY! You can see the aftermath below, lol. I cut several shapes from different colored felts, but most of the felt was ivory and I just did a bit of sponging using the Ranger Inkssential Blending Tool and my stamp pads to give them a bit of color. It was super easy to and quick to make these birthday cards! I even actually have one for a guy ready now. Oh, I also went baker's twine crazy and you will see the aftermath for THAT on release day :)

The simple circle postmark sentiments that you see on two of the cards are from the Birthday Postage Stamps set, which will also be releasing on Feb. 9th. The main feature of the upcoming Postage Stamp set and Birthday Postage Stamps set are actually four postage stamps, but each set also comes with four circle postmarks each to match.

I have a rather simple card to share with you today that uses a new image from the Crissy Armstrong Digital Collection called Rose Butterfly and a sentiment from the Inspirational Sentiments set (from the Raindrop Echo Designs Digital Sentiments Collection). I thought these two worked perfectly together! Crissy's butterfly is just so intricate and beautiful - I fell in love with it when I saw it :) I actually used my Copics (it's been a very long time) for this creation, but it's pretty much all covered by the Stickles, lol.

Sentimental Sundays #10: Celebrations!

Happy Fourth of July to everyone in the US! I hope you're all enjoying the holiday weekend with some good ol' BBQ and fireworks :)

This week at Sentimental Sundays, we are challenging you to create something with a celebration theme in honor of our country's independence. This doesn't have to be anything patriotic - it can be for a birthday or anything that is a cause for celebration. Some new digital sentiments are up!

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to give a quick heads up on a few Whimsy Stamps related events. First, Whimsy Stamps is sponsoring A Spoon Full Of Sugar's Challenge #100 (Birthday theme). New "Crafting Sentiments" set at Whimsy!

Another quick post :)

Just wanted to share with you a new "Crafting Sentiments" set that has now been added to the Whimsy Stamps Digital Collection. Thank you all so much for the support that you've given me about my sentiments. I try as much as I can to come up things that you would like :)

Don't forget, the new challenge blog Sentimental Sundays will start on this Sunday, April 18th! Challenges will be posted bi-weekly along with a FREE sentiments set. You don't have to use the sentiments in the challenges; they're yours to just have fun with :)

For The Troops Sentiments Set Freebie

Just popping in to quickly share a For The Troops Sentiments set I created. I was thinking about the Memory Day holiday coming up and I thought maybe this would give everyone a head start on making some cards for the military men and/or women in your lives. My brother is in the Navy and he'll be leaving again soon so I had him in mind, too.

Whimsy Stamps Digital Collection sneak peak: Love Sentiments

Today I'm sharing with you another sneak peak from the Whimsy Stamps Digital Collection! This is one sentiment that will be included in the Whimsy Stamps Love Sentiments set. This digital collection will launch on April 12 with a Whimsy Stamps blog hop.

I've been wanting to use these lace ribbons for a while now and I've finally been able to! I don't know what it is, maybe it's because I feel like it's so simple and sometimes that's hard for me to do, but I really like how this card turned out. It actually looks much better in person because you can see all the layers of the nested circles. Anywho, I hope you like it, too!
