A Purr-fect Birthday!

It's my turn to post a creation today at the Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Blog so  I decided to share a card using Purr-fect Gift - an adorable kitty image illustrated by Crissy Armstrong.  I've also used a sentiment from the Oval Snippets set and stamped it on the box.  That empty space is the box is just the purr-fect size for the Oval Snippets sentiments as well as most of the sentiments from the Snippets Sets.  I went with a distressed look for this card and kept the embellishments to a minimum because I wanted to show off the fantastic image.  I also used the sketch at Sweet Stampin' Challenge #14 and used some spring colors to enter into the Stampavie and More Challenge #84 Spring.

Oh, and just another little reminder about your Winter Clearance Sale! Winter-themed images and one sentiments set are currently 20% off regular price!  No coupon code necessary, prices are as marked.  Also, Whimsy Stamps currently now stocks an assortment of embellishments like cherry blossoms, Prima mulberry paper roses, bling, and charms.

Digital Stamp Oasis - Designer Feature

Wow, is it already the middle of the week?? This week has been a bit busy for me (if you couldn't tell by the million posts I've put up), but it's been good.  Hope yours has also.

Ellie of Digital Stamp Oasis has been featuring the Design Team on her blog every Wednesday and this week, it's my turn.  Isn't that nice of her?  You can visit her blog here to read a little bit about me and to see some of my Digital Stamp Oasis creations.

I created this card using Susie Squirrel in the Rain.  Susie looks so cute with that adorable flower in her hand!

I'm entering this card into a few challenges:
  1. Our Creative Corner - Sketch Challenge
  2. Dare You To Digi Stamp - Pearls
  3. Daring Cardmakers - Here Comes the Sun
  4. A Spoon Full of Sugar - Beads - Sorry, I don't have beads, but saw that some of the DT used pearls.  Hope that's okay!

Tilda Is Baking for your Birthday!

I finally made a Magnolia card!! It's been so long since I've made one, but I've really been wanting to make one because I recently joined the Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group and everyone is so inspiring!  For this card, I tried to follow Suzanne Dean's YouTube tutorial on how to use Copics to make it look like you colored with Distress Inks (click here for the first video).  I ordered some Distress Ink reinkers and a waterbrush so soon I'll be playing around with those!  Oh, not to mention some new Magnolia Stamps from Magnolia-licious, also ;)

Hope you like my card and thanks for looking!
