Whimsy Stamps May 2011 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Whimsy Stamps
May 2011 new rubber stamps & dies release BLOG HOP!

If you've come here from Chris' blog, then you're on the right track.  If not, please start at Lori's blog to make sure you haven't missed anyone!

We have 18 fabulous new Whimsy Stamps stamps plus 2 new dies releasing today! These new goodies are available to buy right now from the Whimsy Stamps store along with all your Whimsy favourites. We also have our wonderful special guests joining us for this hop - Beate Johns, Deb Routledge, Deb Mitchell and Elaine Hughes.

The Whimsy Stamps DT have been sneak peeking these fabulous stamps for the past 5 days, so if you missed them be sure to hop on over to the Whimsy Inspirations Blog for some more inspiration!

Here is a full list of the wonderful new rubber stamps and dies being released today:

5 stamps from Crissy Armstrong
Baby of Mine, Mystic, Thunder Lizzy, Wee Snippet, and Wee Snippet & Mystic

4 stamps from Meljen's Designs
Birthday Cake Mouse, Birthday Cup Mouse, Gruffy Little Gnome, and Happy Little Gnome

4 stamps from Kenny K
Devastatia, Hockey Girl, Queens Cutie, and Super Mom

5 stamps/sets from Raindrop Echo Designs
Celebration Pennants, Film Strip Sentiments, Magical Mini Letter Seals, Street Art Background, and Welcome Baby Sentiments

2 dies/sets from Raindrop Echo Designs
Film Strip Die and Welcome Baby Die Set

The hop starts today (Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at noon EST) and ends on Wednesday May 25, 2011 at noon EST.

For this hop we have 6 different prize draws! We have not one but TWO grand prize draws, so two lucky hoppers will win a large selection of new release stamps. Grand Prize 1 will be for those who help us advertise the hop, and Grand Prize 2 will be for those who hop along with us. We also have 4 mini candy stops throughout the hop where you can enter to win a new release stamp!

I'm one of those prize stops!  Denise kindly let me give away the Street Art Background Stamp.  I really hope you guys like this background stamp! I think it suits the KennyK images pretty well and there are lots of possibilities.

To enter for a chance to win this stamp, just enter your information into InLinkz. You do NOT need a blog to enter - you can leave the URL blank and just fill in the Name and Email and click Submit.

I have used the  Street Art Background Stamp in the card below along with the new Queens Cutie KennyK stamp and I even managed to use Crissy's Fancy Bench, which I thought actually worked out okay!  I just somehow need to work in a Meljen's image and I would have managed to use all of Whimsy's rubber artists on here, lol.  I'm really having a lot of fun masking these days, as evidenced by the cards below :)  I almost managed to use all the new release stamps for this blog hop and for the sneak peeks.  I wasn't able to use two KennyK stamps and one of Crissy's stamps.

Using KennyK Queens Cutie; Sentiment from the Raindrop Echo Designs Film Strip Sentiments cut out using the Film Strip Die; Also using Street Art Background and Fancy Bench

I also created a few other cards for this release!  Hope you like these, too :)

Using Meljen's Designs Birthday Cake Mouse; Sentiment from the Raindrop Echo Designs Celebration Pennants sentiments
Balloons cut out using the Balloon Die Set and tag cut out using the Double Scallop Tag Die

Using Meljen's Designs Gruffy Little Gnome and Happy Little Gnome; Sentiments from the Raindrop Echo Designs Celebration Pennants set and Party Mini Letter Seals
Border dies cut out using Double Scallop Border Die

Using Crissy's Baby of Mine and Thunder Lizzy; Sentiments from the Raindrop Echo Designs Welcome Baby Sentiments; Dies cut using the Welcome Baby Dies set
Did you know?  The Welcome Baby Die Set coordinates perfectly with the Welcome Baby Sentiments set so that all the mini letter seals fit into the rattle and almost all of the sentiments fit in the bib!

Using Crissy's Wee Snippet; Sentiment from the Raindrop Echo Designs Magical Mini Letter Seals set
Mushroom charm is from the Whimsy store HERE

Now it's time for you to continue the hop by hopping on over to Deb Mitchell's beautiful blog!  So glad you're joining us for this hop, Deb!

Thank you so much for hopping with us today and I hope you enjoy the new release!  Don't forget to enter in the candy draw below!

Here's the hop rotation in case you lose your way:
